so a interesting conversation came up with some friends and i'd like to hear your take on it. do you think that if arana would be relaunched as spider-girl now instead of 2010 would i'd be more successful? and do you think that if ms marvel would be launched in 2010 do you think it would be as successful as it is now?

I don’t know, maybe. Certainly the zeitgeist–the feeling in the air out in the world–has a lot to do with what winds up being popular when, beyond just comics. So timing is definitely a huge factor.
